I know the actual file has a download count, but it is extremly limited in its usefulness. I want to sort content classes instances according to how many times the file attibute with in it was downloaded. I also wanted to report how many times the file was downloaded on a daily basis. In other words, display that this file was downloaded ten times today. I know someone will say you can create some sort of module, but is it possible to go one step further and provide some insite and as to where to begin.
