Hello. I have tried to install ez with the ezwebin option using the files in http://pubsvn.ez.no/nextgen/unstable/2007-03-21-php5/ and the setupwizard. As I understad, those are the recomended files to use if PHP5 is the system. I use mysql5.2, php 5.2

What happens is that I go through all the setupstages but when I click the last button the browser just stops after a timeout. The database is filled with 107 tables of ez-stuff 4,7 Mb data.

Looks like the plain_site installs, but with warnings. When I try use plain_site_admin i get:

warning::1 [2]
* Some general warnings occured, see debug for more information.
Redirecting to /ez/index.php/plain_site_admin/content/edit/1/f/eng-GB

Under is some warnings that displays when the wizard doing the setup.

I have no competence with PHP or SQL. I can do a little unix - and a lot of css+xhtml. I am a content guy. So you know what kind of guy playing with ez on his mac right know :)

is there a recomended way to get the ezwebin up and running on this new PHP5 version?

HI Erland

I'll try to write some notes about testing Exponential right from svn on eZpedia ( http://ezpedia.org ) soon. Until that's done, I recommend you to download the freshly released alpha of today: http://ez.no/download/ez_publish/ez_publish_4_unstable_releases/4_0/4_0_0alpha1.

Good luck!
